SHOTS WITHIN MUSIC VIDEOS

There are multiple shots used while producing a music video. These include:

Tracking Shots: Tracking shots can be used to take one continuous take of a shot

Establishing shot: Used to give the viewer an overview of the premise of the video before to stars. Here we tried to recreate the beginning of boulevard of broken dreams

Long shot: This is used to give to show more of the scene and allow us to see the main character

Full shot: This shot is used to give the main character centre frame with very little background.

Dutch shot: This is an angled shot to give a more of a warning to the scene.

High angle shot: This shot is to make people seem more vunerable towards the viewer

Low angle shot: To give the person in the shot more a power situation but can also be used to show vulnerabilities of them too.

Close up: This is used to show the main character of the music video in more detail

Extreme close up: this is used to show more detail to give more empathises to the song

Use of scale: this is to show the something in the background in less detail while also showing someone in the foreground to give depth to the video
