REVIEW

I Believe that while planning this project went well as i managed to lay out what i would like to do within a timeframe. When writing the pre production massive change had hit us and did force me to make changes to the original plan. I feel like the changes that i have made managed to be quick enough in order to maintain my timeframe. I did however didn't meet a few of my targets like the writing out the Permissions to film for my actors that featured in the production. However i did manage to to complete the majority of the paper work before including a in detail Risk assessment that would cover using the rooms and props that I planned on using

Before I even got to filming i decided to get some practical props to use when filming such as prop/sugar glass to use in one scene to give the scene more of a real feel to it. This did take some time to acquire which meant some of the filming took longer to do. However the effect from the wait was well worth the time.

During the filming process we had a few problems in the timings for filming as sometimes the room and actors were unavailable to film certain shots. And even when filming we would have to take multiple takes of the same scene as sometimes the shot became out of focus or too low of an angle and started showing the top of the ceiling which would ruin the green-screen effect. 

At the beginning of the editing process I had started before I had collected all of the material/footage as un foreseen events caused one of our actors to become unavailable until after the I had started editing.  I started with the end of the video which included the scene in which we used the break away bottle and the confrontation between two of the characters. I feel that I managed to align the song to footage in line of what I imagined. The full end with the use of a fade out to the credits I did like but could of improved by making the text smaller and not so in your face.

Then came the middle which was primarily a argument with the mother and son on about the step father antagonist. This section to a little while to sort out as my actor was only available at certain times this could of been better by setting actors before and notifying them on dates and times. Editing this section was fairly easy as I only had to correct lighting and the greenscreen.

The final section I did was the beginning which was too create an intro to the story arc. It went very well as to create an atmosphere to the video. I would of done better as the intro was of stock footage and could of made it my own shot footage. The reason I used stock footage was because I had no access to any buildings with balcony 

I do hope that the Three days grace community do appreciate the work and effort that went into the video and enjoy it like they would any other Three days grace video. I did my best to stay true to the genre of their work.
