Three Days Grace formed in 1992. In 1995, the band met Canadian super producer Gavin Brown and recorded a demo with him. Brown showed the demo to his contacts at EMI Music Canada and the band was soon signed to Jive Records. They were based out of san Diego for the majority of their career. They threw tribute to some of their major inspiration Alice in Chains.

The Demographic: They are more popular with millennial women then any other age group and slightly less popular with men. Most fans are a typical white emo.

The Psychographic: Most fans are mainly introverts and will and will spend times with others very similar to them. They might enjoy writing emotional poetry and art/photography. They attitudes are in a similar vane to the music that they would listen to.

This is the music video by Hollywood undead 'We Are' part of the Day of the Dead album. There are multiple low and high angle shots to show the protagonists as both venerable and   there are also a few tracking shots to convey a large area of the scene. This video was about how the band members we all different and isolated between the world because of their actions and choices in life. The style of this video is more about crime and how life can be hard on a person with the mood matching the video when showing the band members committing bad choices.

This is the music video by Three Day Grace 'Gone Forever' part of the One-X album. There are multiple jump cuts and cut always showing the band playing the music live. There are also multiple tracking shots as well as close ups  giving the story of a love between two people with one being a solider going off to war and of lovers who have grown apart, this is parallel editing. The style of this video shows the separation of the couples with imagery of wildlife dying and towards the end with new love being made the wildlife begins to grow again.

This is the music video by Likin Park 'What I've Done' originally part of the album Minuets to midnight. There are many cut always, close ups and full shots, this is to show the view the history of the world with all the bad and good primarily the bad with events such as the Manhattan project and racism/segregation. The style of this is very low as it cause us as viewers to reflect onto our actions in the world but also shows us happiness within the world as world.

The artist three days grace primarily do more gothic/emo style videos and this will help me create a more accurate depiction of their style while making my interpretation of their song. This demographic also helped me make informed decisions in how i would like certain elements of the video to look and how the plot of the story will pan out. I also made the decision to buy break away bottles based on the more emo side of the videos as to provide a bit of violence or conflict
